Led the efforts to educate and invite businesses and community organizations to join the cause of filling shoeboxes for children in need around the world. These shoeboxes contain a variety of necessities as well as fun stuff for kids and no two are alike. School supplies, hygiene kit, clothing, shoes, hand made items, letters and pics from those filling it, toys, and stuffed animals.

I've had the honor of building an outreach team from scratch at the Weddington campus. We partner with over a dozen organizations throughout our community including Habitiat for Humanity, Hospice of Union County, Operation Homefront, free clinics, and assisted living homes to offer a helping hand. The outreach team consists of 2 Associate Coordinators, 11 Liaisons, and in the process of building the host team! It's amazing to see lives transformed thru serving others.

My family and I got to help those who were negatively impacted by Hurricane Florence when we traveled to Wilmington, NC and helped clean up yards, move debris and trees from their dwellings, and offer them peace and hope in Jesus Christ. It was such an amazing experience helping others less fortunate, and we plan to do many more as we are able.
